So how exactly do I define a project? For me, the word conjures up visions of things connected together for something larger than itself. So really, a project in the context I use here can be used to describe my more "detailed" pursuits. For example, my world building section will be used to store all the different worlds and universes I create for my stories or for rpgs. My Linux on a Mac section will contain reviews and tips about different distributions, and provide links to helpful resources on the Internet. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time or energy to update that particular section in years, ever since I sold my iBook and bought a Powerbook instead.
I will be releasing the material in my World Building section under a Creative Commons license. You can find more information in the appropriate sections as I formulate exactly what my approach will be. At this point, I think I will allow anyone to use the settings, but put restrictions on my original characters. If this is the case, then I would probably only ask for some sort of attribution in the finished work. If you have any questions, just email me. I'm friendly. And of course, if you do write anything in one of my settings, I would love to hear about it!
